Ultrasound-Guided Arteriovenous Fistula Stenosis Model
Arteriovenous fistula is the "lifeline" for dialysis patients. Stenosis is its most common complication. Clinical intervention carries high risks, so repeated trial operations on real patients are not suitable.
It is used for training of ultrasound-guided puncture and PTA (percutaneous transluminal angioplasty), to practice needle entry angle and depth control and develop tactile proficiency.
Supports standardized assessment and repeated practice, reduces errors in clinical procedures, and lowers the incidence of adverse events such as hematoma and vessel rupture in patients.
Ideal for pre-job training and regular skill refresh training for medical staff in nephrology, ultrasound and interventional departments.
The left forearm model is made of soft skin-like material; 1:1 scale of an adult male; Artery-basilic vein fistula with stenotic blood vessels around the anastomosis. A circulation pump can simulate blood circulation in the forearm. The forearm contains the ulnar artery, radial artery and the formed deep palmar arch; radial artery-cephalic vein fistulas are built on both sides. Model dimensions (L×W×H): 47015085mm.
